The correct weight for your height

When it comes to calculating  the correct weight for your height you need to remember the units of measurements that your height and weight should be in.  If your weight is in kilograms, your height should be in meters. If your weight is in pounds, then your height should be in inches.

Many professionals use body mass index  as a measure of excess fat or obesity, but the system is can be misleading.  Don’t always use BMI, as a measuring stick.  Yes if you are obese, the BMI measurement will tell you that you are obese, however…you could be only a bit overweight and the body mass index calculator can tell you that you are obese.

Many of us struggle to lose weight and keep it off. We work hard for a few months and then we put weight back on by going back to our old ways. Often we fail by following silly diets. While most of us drop weight initially, crazy eating routines just set many of us up to fail.

A normal body mass index is is between 18.5 & 24.9. If your BMI is 18.5 or less then you are considered underweight,  From 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight.  If you have a and a body mass index of 30 or more, you are considered obese.  This BMI measuring device doesn’t account for muscle. Any person who is muscular may be classed overweight.
